We can provide these promotional vacations because the travel agency can fill airlines, cruise ships and hotels that only operate on average at 60%-70% occupancy. All we are doing is filling unsold rooms. They are willing to subsidize travelers because they know they will get revenue from all the activities that you take part in while at their resorts (food, drinks, sight seeing, entertainment, etc.) This way these hotels and airlines are making a little money rather than losing money with unfilled seats and rooms. THIS IS NOT A TIME SHARE ARRANGEMENT. You are not going to have to sit through any presentations or be sold anything. They want you to come back, they are not going to do anything that would discourage that. When you receive your vacation certificate, you simply call the travel agency listed on the certificate and activate your vacation. The representative will answer any questions you have about your travel arrangements and options. They will make reservations for you at one of several pre-arranged hotels or fine resorts. These are all 3 STAR or above hotels & resorts. After activating your voucher, you will have up to one year to use it. There are no blackout dates, however all reservations are based on availability. Remember, high travel seasons may require more advanced notice. Minimum 30 days notice is required. The travel agent will send you a travel itinerary. All travelers will be responsible for any and all flight taxes, departure taxes, service fees, gratuities, and hospitality fees. All hotel taxes will be collected at check-in when you arrive at your hotel in the Bahamas. WHERE DO I FLY FROM AND ON WHAT AIRLINE? You must fly out of one of the cities listed below. However, all you have to do is get there fly there, drive there or get there however, you want. FLY FREE FROM: Baltimore, MD, Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC, Pittsburgh, PA, Cincinnati, OH, Cleveland, OH, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Hartford, CT, Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN and Richmond, VA. We have chosen these cities because they are HUBS for most airlines therefore if you need to get to one of them it will be inexpensive for you and easy. Some airports do have limited departures so you may have to be a little flexability with your dates. You will get you FREE 2 ROUNDTRIP AIRLINE TICKETS on Laker Airlines, they are an airline that flies frequently to the Bahamas. Laker is a privately owned airline by Sir Freddy Laker. His company exclusively flies for vacation package companies, and do not accept reservations from the general public. WHEN CAN I USE THE CERTIFICATE? Well, virtually anytime. Of course, it is based on availability and high season is tougher to get and may require much advance notice. Non Holiday weeks are preferred and easier to obtain. And you must give advance notice usually 30 days is requested. However, they will try to help you if it is sooner. DO I HAVE TO STAY IN PARTICIPATING HOTELS OR CAN I CHOOSE MY OWN? The travel agent has prearranged accommodations at many
fine resorts and hotels. If you choose to upgrade , the agents can accommodate
you for a small fee (between $75 and $120 per night). The standard Resort
